ACE recently completed the interior and exterior painting at the new Goodwill store in South Portland, ME. It is one of the largest Goodwill stores in Northern New England. ACE partnered with Great Falls Construction in converting the 17,500 square foot building from an old Circuit City and completed the project in March 2010.

ACE completed the Portsmouth Marriott with Pro Con construction in June 2010. Ace installed over 14,000 lineal yards of wallpaper in the hotel and conference center and finished the project on a four-month fast track schedule. The project received a LEED Silver award by the U.S. Green Building Council. Ace accumulated over 7,000 safe hours worked on the project.
   
ACE painted the 192,000 square foot facility meeting all construction milestones within a four month timeframe. Dan Noblet, Project Manager for Pizzagalli Construction Company noted that “the Bayside Village project presented a wide range of schedule, logistic, and safety challenges...ACE Corporation’s collaborative approach helped us to successfully meet those challenges…I would like to take this opportunity to thank ACE Corporation for the professionalism and cooperation displayed at every level of [the] organization.”
   
Noted as one of the largest construction projects of its type in Maine history, ACE completed the painting on the 700,000 square foot facility in September 2008 with Cianbro Construction. ACE applied over 12,000 gallons of concrete coatings in the parking garage and installed over 38,000 lineal yards of wallpaper in the casino and hotel. ACE topped the project off by compiling over 20,000 work hours without any lost time to injury.
   
ACE partnered with WA Berry on this six-phase project in 2008, providing the wall covering and paint services. The project included construction of a new garage, central utility plant, intermediate care facility, helipad, and a women and infants center. It also included the renovation and expansion of the emergency department, lobby renovation and elevator bank addition.
  
ACE was selected by Wright-Ryan Construction to complete the largest in tumescent fireproofing project in Maine history. ACE also provided all the interior and exterior painting. The 236,000 square foot, five story facility located along the Kennebec River offers living and working space that captures the spirit of historic Waterville. The brick and granite building is one of several cotton mills constructed along the river by the Lockwood Company in the late 1800s. However, it is best known as the manufacturing headquarters for the nationally recognized Hathaway Shirt Company, which operated out of Waterville for 165 years as one of the nation’s largest shirt manufacturers.
   
ACE provided all architectural and industrial coatings for the 92,000 square foot facility. This project was completed on a 16 month fast track schedule with Sheridan Construction. ACE completed the project in the Fall of 2008.
  
Together with Wright-Ryan Construction, ACE provided the interior paint services for the 178,000 square foot high school. ACE totaled over 9,000 safe hours worked and installed over 4,000 gallons of paint. The project was completed in August 2006.

Working with J&J Contractors, ACE accumulated over 6,000 safe hours worked on the 70,000 square foot project. ACE installed over 2,500 gallons of paint and completed the project in September 2009.

The 25,000 square foot project was completed in January 2010 with Wright-Ryan Construction. ACE totaled over 1,000 safe hours worked on the project.
 
ACE completed the 75,000 square foot project with Shawmut Construction in March 2010. The historic restoration of classrooms and a lab building included work in a Class 1000 clean room. ACE accumulated over 4,000 safe hours worked on the project.
  
Partnering with Lecesse Construction, ACE provided over 10,000 gallons of paint, over 28,000 man hours, and over 15,000 lineal yards of wallcovering on The Boulders at Riverwoods retirement community project in Exeter, NH. ACE was one of a few contractors selected to work on all three phases of the project, which was completed in April 2010.
