We are hiring Painters for Year-Round Work. Full-time with overtime available in several Maine cities (Portland, Lewiston, Augusta, Bangor, and many more). ACE Painting was created with a paintbrush and a dream amongst 3 college students. Established in 2001, ACE Painting has grown into the largest commercial painting company in New England. Currently working on all-size projects in Maine.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Prepares surfaces and applies paints and other coating materials to a variety of interior and exterior surfaces and structures. The use of scaffolding, ladders, staging, and scissor/boom lifts at various heights is required.

  • Work safely and comply with all OSHA and company guidelines
  • Work in a team and coordinate work functions with fellow workers.
  • Follow oral and written instructions.
  • Coordinate/communicate with other trades for the purpose of completing projects efficiently.
  • Work while wearing required personal protective equipment.
  • Safely operate equipment using a variety of standardized methods.
  • Adapt to changing working conditions
  • Perform heavy physical labor and manual dexterity, including bending, crawling, kneeling, stooping, climbing, twisting, reaching, carrying, and lifting heavy objects weighing up to 75lbs.
  • Bend, crawl, walk, kneel, sit, and stand for extended periods of time
  • Work in varying and sometimes inclement weather conditions
  • Work as a self-motivated team player

Job Requirements:

  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical
  • Have reliable transportation to and from the Job Site. (Be able to commute within 40 miles from your home residence.)
