With two aging school buildings, the city of South Portland needed new space to house its fifth- through eighth-grade students. The new Middle School combines Mahoney and Memorial Middle Schools and uses a variety of eco-friendly technologies. It opened in 2023.

The ACE team was called in to complete all the painting and acoustic work for the new building. The paint job required 5,000 gallons of paint, while the acoustic work included interior ACT, Tectum, wall panels, and architectural clouds.
